Jeneffer Wamucii is a plant science enthusiast with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Currently, she's diving into the world of plant tissue culture and transformations as a research trainee at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture ( IITA) hosted by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Nairobi. Her passion lies in unraveling the mysteries of plant science, particularly in molecular biology. In her undergraduate years, she delved into the research, culminating in an impactful final-year project. This experience solidified her desire to advance her career, particularly in plant sciences. Her goal is to make significant strides in her career profession and contribute to sustainable food production through current biological and biotechnological techniques. This has become her driving force and she's looking forward to soon enrolling for a master's to advance her career.
